MSPI/FPIES Daily Smoothie for L!

If your child is a picky eater, I feel your pain! I get so worried about L sometimes because first off, there's SO much he can't have and what he CAN eat he gets sick of! I am always trying to switch it up and get him the nutrients he needs!

One of the ways I do this is by making him a smoothie every day. He doesn't always drink it, but I do my best to convince him. And it's a great way to sneak in greens and other nutrient-packed foods!

Again, this is one of those things where you use what you have on hand. Today, I had:

-1/4 cup frozen organic blueberries, 1/2 cup spinach and 1/2 cup raspberries (frozen is usually cheaper and we buy organic on these because they're on the dirty dozen)
-1 kale leaf, organic
-1/2 of a fresh cucumber from our garden
-1/2 banana
-1/2 cup coconut milk
-1/2 cup water
-1 Tbsp agave nectar to make it a little sweeter and disguise the greens!

Add all ingredients into your blender and blend thoroughly. Make sure there are no chunks!

Add to a sippy cup and refrigerate leftovers. You can switch it up every day! Some days, I add 1 Tbsp sunbutter, some days I add different types of fruit I may have on hand. Get creative with it!
